About Us
OSHACode® is a nationally recognized training firm specializing in pro-level, content rich, in-depth online environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) training. With years of professional experience in the field, we have had the privilege of training individuals and groups across both the public and private sectors—including federal and state regulators, Fortune 500 companies, and small businesses. Our trainers have a proven track record in health and safety fundamentals, as well as regulatory compliance.
We are a professional online training organization focused on OSHA compliant EH&S training and education. Our specialty is HAZWOPER training (40 hour, 24 hour, and 8 hour refresher), which is crucial for workers handling hazardous waste or responding to chemical emergencies. Our instructors have been around since the late 1990s and trained major federal and private-sector clients — including responders for events like Deepwater Horizon and the Columbia shuttle disaster.
If you’re considering taking one of our courses or working with us, please know that we are legitimate, OSHA compliant, and highly experienced in the field.
Headquartered in Augusta, Georgia, we work with a network of experienced health and safety consultants across the nation. Our commitment to high-quality training has allowed us to play a vital role in several major events where safety and rapid response were critical.
Instructors Key Training Contributions
✅ HAZWOPER Hands-on Simulator®
Developed an interactive simulator to support employers in delivering site-specific, hands-on training for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The simulator received OSHA acceptance when used in conjunction with an employers overall site-specific HAZWOPER training, enhancing the effectiveness of safety instruction. Our online training solution became an integral tool for rapid training deployment, enabling teams to complete their certification efficiently while maintaining the highest safety standards.
✅ NASA & the Space Shuttle Columbia Recovery
When Space Shuttle Columbia broke apart upon reentry, debris was scattered across multiple states, much of it hazardous. NASA needed to mobilize large response teams, but personnel required the 40 hour HAZWOPER certification before deployment. Our online training solution became a key component in ensuring rapid deployment, allowing teams to complete their training efficiently and safely.
✅ 2010 Gulf Oil Spill & U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service
During the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, our trainers served as the primary training provider for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS). Their mission was to assess contamination levels and protect marine life. Aided by our online HAZWOPER training, FWS personnel were able to deploy just days after the initial petroleum release. Additionally, based on their experience with our training, FWS referred us to the U.S. Coast Guard, where we trained numerous officials involved in the response.
✅ U.S. Secret Service HAZMAT Training
When the U.S. Secret Service needed agents to complete their HAZMAT First Responder Refresher Training, traditional classroom sessions at the White House posed security challenges. To address these concerns, our founder was contacted to provide an effective and secure online training solution. Agents were able to complete their certification without disruptions or security risks.
At OSHACode® we take pride in providing efficient, effective, and nationally recognized EH&S training that makes a real difference. We look forward to continuing our mission of enhancing workplace safety and supporting critical operations across industries.
