8 Hour HAZWOPER Refresher Online Training

Our 8 Hour HAZWOPER Refresher course was developed using OSHA guidance documents and built on decades of experience in the health and safety field. In compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120(e), this annual HAZWOPER refresher is required for individuals who have previously completed the 40 Hour or 24 Hour HAZWOPER training for General Site Workers. The program is designed to keep workers current with essential knowledge and skills, ensuring ongoing compliance with OSHA’s annual re-certification requirements.

Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate recognized and accepted by regulatory authorities. The course is delivered entirely online and is self-paced, allowing learners to progress on their own schedule while dedicating at least eight hours to meet the refresher requirement.

Throughout the training, students engage with interactive modules, our CompetencyScenario™ based knowledge checks, and final self-graded exam. Quizzes may be retaken as often as needed, and there are unlimited attempts to pass the final exam. This flexible format supports comprehension, accommodates different learning styles, and ensures participants remain prepared to work safely in hazardous environments.

This course meets the eligibility for Continuance of Certification (COC) points awarded by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).
