OSHA Compliant

Designed to meet OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 regulations, our courses deliver in-depth instruction on hazard identification, risk mitigation, decontamination, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Taught by industry experts, this training ensures compliance, enhances worker safety, and prepares personnel to confidently manage hazardous operations in real-world environments.

“Other providers may look cheaper at first glance, but when an OSHA inspector is in the room, or when you’re managing 200 employees’ refresher deadlines, the real cost is in employee safety, lost time and risk. Our training is designed to give you peace of mind, not just a certificate.”

Led by Industry Pioneers

We take pride in delivering high-quality training that goes beyond just meeting requirements. Our Program Manager and lead instructor, Clay Bednarz, was the first to offer commercial HAZWOPER training online in 1998. Over the years, he has witnessed the evolution of training materials and techniques. After selling his previous company, he has returned to what he loves most: leading a team dedicated to providing the best, most engaging online training available.

As true subject matter experts, we set high standards for our courses and instructors—because we believe that quality training saves lives. OSHACode® provides OSHA required hazardous waste and HAZWOPER training that’s built and taught by industry veterans. Unlike generic training providers, we deliver courses that are engaging, field-tested, and 100% aligned with OSHA standards — so you can meet requirements and keep your people safe without guesswork or wasted time.

In-Person HAZWOPER Training

Site-Specific Hands-on Training

Online HAZWOPER courses cover the classroom instruction, but OSHA requires site-specific hands-on training to be done in person by the employer—not in a hotel class or open-enrollment session. Under 29 CFR 1910.120, workers must complete site-specific, supervised field experience using the actual equipment, PPE, hazards, and emergency procedures from their workplace. This part of the training is performed during the initial phase and not during the required supervised field experience. This training ensures real-world competency in PPE use, air monitoring, decontamination, spill response, and navigation of exclusion zones. In-person HAZWOPER training is not generic—it must reflect yoursite, your hazards, and your operations to meet OSHA requirements. Per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 Appendix E “Site-specific training programs must be developed on the basis of a needs assessment of the hazardous waste site, RCRA/TSDF, or emergency response operation in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120.”
